Schipperke Breed Overview

The Schipperke is a small, compact, and highly intelligent breed originally developed as a watchdog and working companion. Known for their alert nature, fox-like expression, and distinctive coat, Schipperkes are energetic, curious, and intensely loyal to their owners.

Despite their small size, they are not typical lap dogs. Schipperkes require mental stimulation, consistent training, and an owner who understands their independent and sometimes strong-willed personality. Their natural instincts, intelligence, and energy level make them a rewarding but demanding breed for the right home.
